Transcript Request
The Ontario Student Transcript (OST) is the official record of a student’s academic achievement at the secondary school level in the province of Ontario. The OST is retained by the last secondary school that you attended. If the last secondary school you attended is within the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario and you require your OST, please refer to the applicable process listed below to request your transcript.
Current CDSBEO Students:
If you are a current CDSBEO secondary school student, or the parent/guardian of a secondary school student who is not an adult (17 years of age or younger), please contact the student’s secondary school Student Services Department to request student records.
Former CDSBEO Students:
Students who have graduated or retired from our school shall request an OST by completing our Request for Transcript Form.
Ontario College Applications (OCAS)
If you are a former student and have applied to college in Ontario, you can electronically request your transcript directly through Ontario Colleges as part of the online registration process. The transcript is processed once payment is confirmed and forwarded electronically to OCAS where they process and electronically file the transcript with all the colleges that you apply to.

St. James CEC must submit your transcript request. We will send your official transcript directly to the university as per your request. Please indicate your OUAC Reference Number on your transcript request.
Please note: The OUAC does not accept hard-copy transcripts, nor do they forward them to your university selections.
Request for the purposes of employment, Universities or education outside of Ontario
To request an Ontario Student Transcript (OST) for the purposes of employment or education outside of the province of Ontario, complete our Request for Transcript Form.
Please note that there is a cost of $20.00 for the first transcript and $5.00 for each additional copy.

Valid Proof of Identification
Valid proof of identification will be required for those picking up records in person. For those requesting electronic copies of their records, a scan or photograph of a valid ID, with your date of birth, will be required before any records can be released.
Processing Time
For electronic requests, schools require at least 7 business days to process your request once confirmation of payment has been received. Processing time may take up to 2 weeks, not including mail delivery time, during peak periods. Please note that visiting our office in person does not guarantee you will immediately receive your records.
Important Information
- We cannot release any student information over the phone.
- We cannot process a transcript request if the last secondary school you attended was not with the Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario.
- Student records are confidential. If the student is 18 years of age or over, records can only be issued to a third party with written consent from the student.
