Information for Parents

All courses offered through the e-Learning Program satisfy the requirements for these credits as specified by the Ministry of Education documents. In each course, the specific expectations of each module are stated at the outset and can be compared to those stated on the Ministry of Education website.

Each course has an instructor assigned to a class of students. The instructor is a professional teacher, licensed in Ontario, with many years of experience in the classroom and a strong background in online learning.

Parents of students under 18 years of age are welcome to correspond with their child’s instructor and keep up to date on the student’s performance in an e-Learning course. Please provide a parental email address on the registration form, when you register your student. This information will be passed along to the instructor.

Please note, students registered in one of our high schools must receive Principal and Superintendent approval to take an online course through the school year.
